TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern
The TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2024 consists of two papers which were TNPSC prelims and TNPSC mains examination. In Prelims, the duration of the examination was 3 hours which consisted of three sections of General Tamil/General English, General Studies, and Aptitude/Mental Ability. In the prelims examination there were 200 questions and each question awarded 1.5 marks which makes the whole prelims examination of 300 marks and no marks will be deducted for any wrong answer.
The TNPSC group 2 mains examination paper 1 also lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes and it involves Tamil language tasks like translation and writing. While paper 2 has a three hour examination as a degree standard focuses on general study which has 100 questions carrying 300 marks and it is also a bilingual language exam. This exam pattern is set up and aims to test the candidate’s knowledge and skill for the required post.
