In the case of a tie in the MHT CET Merit List between two or more candidates, the tie-breaking rule is implemented to determine their final rank in the merit list. The tie-breaking rule varies for pharmacy and engineering courses. Candidates with higher marks in biology (for pharmacy) or mathematics (for engineering) will be given preference. If ties still persist, candidates with higher marks in physics and chemistry will be given preference in the Maharashtra CET Merit List 2023. If the tie is not broken, then the higher aggregate marks in Biology / Mathematics , Physics and Chemistry will get a higher rank in the merit list.
MHT CET Seat allotment 2023
The seat allotment process for MHT CET 2023 will be managed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra, which is also responsible for organizing the exam. Participants in the MHT CET 2023 seat allocation process must have enrolled for the counselling process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the MHT CET Merit List and only those applicants who passed the examination will be permitted to participate in the counselling process.
