The Chandra yantri launch is highly anticipated for the Indians which was scheduled on 14th July 2023 at Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

If the moon landing of Chandrayaan-3 is successful, India will join the  ranks of four nations that have achieved the soft landing on the moon.

The new lander of Chandrayaan 3 will be equipped with four motors  instead of five ensuring enhanced stability during the landing phase.

Chandrayaan 3 will be carried into space by the LVM3 (Launch Vehicle  Mark-III), India’s heaviest rocket. With a gross lift-off weight of 640  tonnes and a length of 43.5 meters.

The spacecraft is expected to touch down on the lunar surface on August  24, 2023, during a period when sunlight falls on the moon.
