The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Lucknow is going to release the UP NEET Cut Off 2023 for 85% State quota seats and rest of the 15% AIQ (All India Quota) are going to release by MCC very soon. In Uttar Pradesh, there were around 35 government medical colleges, 2 AIIMS, and 2 central universities in which there are total 4178 Government MBBS seats, 4750 Private MBBS seats, 300 BDS Government seats, and 2300 BDS Private seats.
UP NEET Cut Off 2023
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Lucknow, will release the UP NEET Cut Off on behalf of MCC on 20 July 2023. As we know, the NEET Result 2023 was publicly released on 13th June 2023 and now students in Uttar Pradesh are waiting for the UP NEET Cut Off 2023, which decides the chances of admission in medical colleges after that candidates will be eligible to take part in the counselling process for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc, and AH.
The UP NEET Cut Off will be released separately for different categories because each category has its own specific cut off based on the reservation policy. The expected category wise UP NEET Cut Off 2023 was for UR category candidates to score minimum 50% and 720 marks to 137 marks, OBC/ SC/ST category candidates to score 40% and 136 marks to 107 marks, UR from PH category candidates to score 45% and 136 marks to 107 marks, and OBC/ SC/ST from PH category candidates to score minimum 40% and 120 marks to 107 marks.
Factors Determining UP NEET Cut Off 2023
The UP Neet Cut Off will be decided on several types of factors, such as the total number of seats available in the medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The higher availability of seats in the private and government medical colleges can lead to a lower cut off. The difficulty level of the NEET exam can affect the cut off. UP NEET 2023 Tie-breaking Rules
In the event that two or more candidates secure the same marks in the NEET exam 2023, certain breaking rules will be applied to determine their NEET rank. Here are the NEET tie-breaking rules as per the official guidelines :
- Candidates with higher marks in the Biology subject of the NEET Exam 2023 are given priority in the rank list.
- If the tie persists, candidates with fewer incorrect answers in the NEET Exam 2023 are ranked higher.
- In case the tie still remains, the candidate with the highest number of correct answers in biology in the NEET Exam 2023 will rank Higher.

The UP NEET Cut Off will be declared by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Lucknow on 20th July 2023 on its official website. Candidates can follow the steps given below to check the cut off-
- Step 1: To check the UP NEET Cut Off 2023, students have to visit the official website of DMET Lucknow at www.dgme.up.gov.in
- Step 2: Now the candidate has to click on the sidebar and select the counselling and allotment section.
- Step 3: After that, the list of all notifications will appear, and candidates have to click on the UP NEET Cut Off 2023 link.
- Step 4: Now the UP NEET Cut Off 2023 will be downloaded in PDF format on your device.
There are a total of 4750 private MBBS seats and 4178 government MBBS seats in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
