The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft will be launched with advanced scientific instruments and Technology. The Chandrayaan-3 mission cost is estimated to be around ₹615 crore which was comparatively higher than the Chandrayaan 2 mission. The new lander of Chandrayaan 3 will be equipped with four motors instead of five ensuring enhanced stability during the landing phase. As of now, the final preparation and testing of Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft are almost completed.
Chandrayaan 3 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor Chandrayaan-2, which was launched on July 22, 2019. Although Chandrayaan-2 experienced a partial failure when the Vikram lander crashed on the moon’s surface, it was still considered a significant achievement for the Indian space program.
